Install MD:Rebirth

The download button, the current build and its size are on the Download page. If it says "Coming soon", downloads are not open yet: watch the news and the Discord.

What you need

An Android phone or tablet that can run 32-bit apps. Phones that only run 64-bit apps (for example Pixel 7 and newer) cannot run it yet.
About 1 GB of free space for the game data, plus the app itself.
Wi-Fi for the first download. The game is online only.

There is no iPhone or iPad version.

Install on Android

Open the Download page on your phone and tap Download APK. Your browser may warn that the file could be harmful. It says that about every app from outside the Play Store.
Open the downloaded file. The first time, Android asks for permission: tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source for your browser or file manager, then go back. On older phones it is Settings > Security > Unknown sources.
Tap Install. If Google Play Protect warns you, tap More details and then Install anyway.
Open the game. It downloads the game data. Stay on Wi-Fi and keep the game open on screen until it finishes.

Updating

A new build installs over the old one and keeps your game. Download it from the Download page the same way. Each build has its own file name, so you can always tell which one you have.

If Android says App not installed or that the package conflicts, the app's signature changed. Do not uninstall yet: the news post for that build says what to do first.

Problems

The download stops or the game asks again: keep the game open on screen during the first download, on Wi-Fi.
"App not installed": see Updating above.
Android says the app is not compatible with your phone: your phone may only run 64-bit apps. See What you need.
