Co-op, PvP, Supporters and guilds
Updated 16 Oct 2026
Co-op quests, the PvP arena and the guild basics are open to every account on MD:Rebirth. They follow the original game's rules unless this page says otherwise.
Still to come: guild missions, the Guild Shop and Guild Home, guild events, team PvP and multiplayer events. Watch the news for when they open.
Supporters
Before a single-player quest you can pick a Supporter: a unit from another player that fights with you. Friends are listed first. Clearing a quest with a Supporter also counts for one of the daily missions. After the quest the game offers to follow the player who lent you the Supporter. More about friends in User rank, parties and friends.
Co-op quests
Co-op Quests let up to three players fight together:
- each player brings one unit,
- you can only join quests you have unlocked yourself,
- a chat (with quick phrases) lets you talk during the quest,
- Supporters cannot be used in co-op.
Making or joining a party
Open the Quest Board in town.
- Make a party: pick a quest and its difficulty, add a comment if you like, and wait for others. You are the room master. Your party has a 6-digit room key: share it with friends so they can join straight away.
- Join a party: look on the friend tab for your friends' parties, browse the open parties for a quest, use random matching, or type a room key.
- The room master can remove players. If the room master leaves, the next player takes over, and the party closes when the last player leaves.
- Once the room master departs for the quest, nobody else can join that party until the quest ends.
Each player gets their own clear rank, EXP and drops at the end. After the quest the game offers to follow the players you played with, and "Co-op History" under Friends lists them.
Playing with players of a lower user rank earns Bond Points, up to a daily limit that resets at 15:00 UTC.
Co-op battles connect through servers in Australia. Players far from there may notice a little more delay, so stay on a steady connection (Wi-Fi is best).
In some co-op quests the boss attacks whoever has the most hate. Dealing damage and healing build hate, some skills build more, and maces build the most, so a mace user can hold the boss's attention while the others attack.
PvP arena
The arena is Bullet of Bullets (BoB). Its season is listed with the events in Quest > Extra Quest.
- You are matched with another player who is looking for a match at the same time. If nobody is, you face another player's party, played by the game.
- Wins raise your BoB rank, from 1 up to 100.
- Reaching rank 5, 10 and every 10 ranks after that for the first time gives a reward.
- The season ranking lists the top players by rank.
End-of-season rank rewards and team PvP are coming later.
Guilds
A guild is a group of up to 10 players. The Guild button in town opens after story Quest 2-8.
- Create a guild (symbol, name and mood) and become its Commander, or join one from the recommended list, a search, the friend tab or an invitation.
- You can join or create a guild twice a day; the count resets around 06:00 UTC. Guilds can require approval: you can have up to 10 join requests open at once, and joining one guild cancels the others.
- Roles: the Commander, one Vice Commander and Members. The Commander can remove anyone; the Vice Commander can remove Members. The Commander and the Vice Commander write the noticeboard and edit the guild's details.
- Guild chat shows the last 3 days. Members can also donate Col to the guild; donations reset at 06:00 UTC.
- Guild names are up to 10 characters. Rude words are filtered.
Guild missions, the Guild Shop, the Guild Home backgrounds and their quest bonuses, and guild events are not open yet.
